A few weeks ago, Phil Peterson of Shwood, Victor Garcia of VG Photography, and Jason Gillihan of Black Rabbit decided to take a break from their busy entrepreneurial schedules and head to the mountains. Black Rabbit has officially taken on a new section of building- Custom modern and craftsman doors, made to order. While driving in the NW Portland hills, I noticed that your front door says a lot about the character of your home. Some are red, some are black, some are short and wide, some are tall and narrow. The ones that stick out to me are the beautiful craftsman style doors fabricated from locally harvested wood

Black Rabbit has an exciting week ahead with the Portland Fall Home & Garden Show and the Serving Up Style competition. The weather is hot, the sky is blue and wedding season is in full swing. Last weekend we were privileged to attend good friends Ali & Yascha Noonberg’s beautiful union at The Governor Hotel in downtown Portland. Instead of the traditional home goods and checks given as gifts, Black Rabbit wanted to craft a something special. The request was a handmade birdhouse. We delivered. Congrats Ali & Yascha!
